Photostream

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 October 2026

Photostream (photostream.uz) is an event photo delivery service provided by photostream ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we process, why, and how you can control it.

1. Data we collect

  • Gallery guests: no account is needed to view a gallery. We keep technical server logs (IP address, time of request, browser) and a random visitor cookie used for security and fair rate limits.
  • Account holders (photographers, studios, organizers): name, Telegram account ID and username or phone number used to sign in, e-mail address if you add one, your organization and team settings.
  • Event photos uploaded by photographers on behalf of the organizer, with their technical metadata (EXIF), and the galleries and share links you create.
  • Billing records: plan, invoices, payment status and, for crypto payments, the wallet address and transaction ID.

2. How we use data

We use this data only to provide and secure the Service: to sign you in, process and publish photos, deliver galleries, send service notifications (for example through our Telegram bot), handle billing and support, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

3. Payments

Card payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and e-mail under its own privacy policy; we never see or store your full card number. Paddle shares with us what we need to run your subscription: order and subscription IDs, plan, amount, status and the last four digits and brand of the card.

4. Saving to Google Drive

If you click "Save to Google Drive", the Service asks your Google account for a single permission — drive.file. With it Photostream can only create a folder and upload the photos you selected into it. We do not see, read or change any other files in your Drive.

If a photographer or studio turns on "Back up to Google Drive" in settings, the Service, with the same drive.file permission, receives a refresh token and copies the original photos of their events to a "Photostream" folder in their Drive in the background. The token is stored encrypted and used only for this. It can be turned off at any time in settings or in the Google account (Security → Third-party apps); the token is then deleted and files already copied stay in the owner's Drive.

For guest saves, the Google access token is used only in your browser during the upload and is not stored on our servers. We never receive your Google password and do not store your Google account data.

You can revoke access at any time: myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Compliance with Google policies

Photostream's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising or share it with third parties.

6. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help run the Service, and only as needed: hosting and object storage for photos and backups, Telegram for sign-in and notifications, Paddle for card payments, and Google when you choose to use Google Drive.

7. Cookies

We use only necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, your active organization and language, and the random visitor cookie in galleries. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Retention and deletion

Event photos are kept for the retention period of the organizer's plan (see Pricing); after it ends the gallery closes and its files are permanently deleted after a further 7 days. Account data is kept while the account exists; billing records are kept as long as required by law. To request deletion of a photo in which you appear, or of your account, write to us.

9. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to its processing. We reply within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the Service.
